A former councillor said the drinking water pipeline in the area was installed in the ’80s. It is now rusted and people are forced to drink the unhygienic water.
The local elected representative said the village had just been included in his constituency after recent delimitation. He said funds were short so it was difficult to start development work in the area but he promised that he will take steps for the well-being of the village population.
