So this Profit magazine report on the history and system of television ratings in Pakistan makes for an informative and important read.
Abdullah Niazi looks at the original attempts to bring a world-class TV ratings firm to Pakistan before sharing facts and figures about the MediaLogic ratings service that has been used by the broadcast media industry. Alongside, readers will find information on the size of the TV advertising market and accounts of the Supreme Court’s rather absurd interventions.
The story does not seem to use multiple human sources, which could have improved an article on this issue but tries to make do with secondary research.
