MMfD Comments:

The Sindh police department provided data for police stations and other police facilities for 25 districts after MMfD’s Sindh correspondent Oonib Azam sent internal review requests for other records requests MMfD had filed with the department to get data about statistics for crimes committed against children. Even among the 25 districts, the Mirpurkhas police range sent aggregate data for its three districts: Mirpurkhas, Umerkot, and Tharparkar. Data was not provided by Karachi South police zone (which covers the Karachi South district) and Karachi East police zone (which covers the Karachi East, Korangi, and Malir districts).

Since the data was provided as part of Excel files that also contained statistics about crimes committed against children, there is no separate response. The police station details have been filtered and uploaded to the data section of this website as a separate data set.
