MMfD Comments:

The Punjab police public information officer forwarded MMfD’s request to the district police offices in Punjab’s 36 districts in January. We received responses from 19 of the 36 districts. After receiving a reminder from MMfD’s Punjab correspondent Shahid Aslam, the public information officer sent us some compiled records on 5 March 2018. However, the district police offices also kept sending records separately, the latest of which was received on 10 March. Seventeen districts of Punjab, however, remained unresponsive. A PDF of the received responses is attached below. MMfD has converted the responses into a data set, which is available in our website’s data section.
